CARIBOU BOG OUTDOOR CENTER
The client is an organization with a new building in Orono located within the Caribou Bog Conservation Area (CBCA), a nearly 7,000-acre corridor of conservation lands and extensive trails extending from the Bangor City Forest north to Old Town. They wanted a logo and a social media plan.
Students created a logo that represents the organization and their mission to enhance the outdoor experience for Nordic skiers, mountain bikers, and runners/walkers using the trails. The students also provided a brand book with colors and font information. The purpose of the social media plan is to draw their audience to the new center and invite them to use it as a homebase when they are exploring the outdoors. Additionally, the social media posts will be an educational resource and encourage public donations to support the center’s efforts. The students also took photos for use on the social media pages and website.
